Well, like most people, Falling Stars Theatre are staying at home!
We were very lucky to be able to perform ‘Here I Belong’ at the beautiful village of Appletreewick before we stopped. Chloe and I received some excellent feedback and left on a high. Unfortunately, the rest of the tour has had to be postponed but we are determined to be back in the Autumn. ‘Here I Belong’ covers many rural issues that villagers can relate to and takes the audience on a poignant and emotional journey. We were visiting nine villages and ending up at Guiseley Theatre, once we are back up and running my first priority is to re-schedule this tour.
In other news we had our first Zoom meeting to start the inspirational cogs turning for Edinburgh 2021. It was so lovely to see the faces of the fellow Falling Starlets and have a creative time discussing how we can wow the people of Edinburgh with our next production. Watch this space!
I set myself a personal challenge at the beginning of lockdown to create and perform a 1min monologue everyday! This has been an absolute joy, not only does it give me 20mins out of home schooling, but allows me to be creative and do what I love. You can watch the monologues on our social media pages, please see the links below.
