Behind the Lens brings you the human stories behind the headlines. Experience the moving journeys of those forced to flee conflict, persecution, and violence in search of sanctuary.

Follow the Smith family, an ordinary family living a secure life. Their comfortable world is affected by the people they meet, the stories they hear, and the human connections they forge. These unexpected encounters force them to pause, reflect, and deeply appreciate the safety they take for granted.

This powerful, deeply moving theatre performance challenges us to confront our own privileges and truly walk a mile in someone else’s shoes.

Thursday 15th October.

8pm.

Mortimer Suite, Hull City Hall.
